I guess that is what we have going on here. Don’t expect much from this site. The fact that I wrote anything probably speaks volumes. I did however feel I needed to get a little something out there though.

My day job is in IT. I am a director for an IT team for a university. Previously my primary technical role was a network administrator.

• Extreme Networks EXOS, EOS, BOSS switch operating systems
• PaloAlto NGFW
• Some experience with Cisco and Juniper
• I’ve built a couple of pfSense firewalls

I also previously managed the infrastructure team so I was backup to other members.

Telephone

• Avaya CM6 phone system with over 1500 VOIP phone sets.
• XMedius voicemail/callcenter software

Server team

• Linux - mostly Ubuntu, some CentOS
• Microsoft Windows, unfortunately
• M365 administration

• Mostly Extron
